HEALTH AND SAFETY
Your child's health is of extreme importance. Upon enrollment your child is required to have a check-up from his physician and have the necessary health form returned to us. As our forms indicate, standard immunizations, a tuberculin clearance, and child abuse forms are required for enrollment.
Your child may be sent home if he appears to have symptoms of illness. In such cases he will be isolated and a parent contacted.
If your child is too ill to go outside he/she is too ill to attend school.
KEEP YOUR CHILD HOME:
-
If he has a fever
-
If he has a cold less than 4 days old
-
If he has a constant cough
-
If he has a heavy nasal discharge
-
If he is fussy, cranky, and generally not himself
-
If he is tired and low on energy. Rest at such times may prevent the communicable disease (sniffles, headache, sore throat, etc.)
Please notify us immediately if your child does have a communicable disease! The "Emergency and Identification" form that you complete is extremely important. If any of the information changes (telephone numbers, work or home addresses, etc.) you must correct the form so that we have current information concerning your child. Noah's Ark Pre-School will not be responsible for anything that may happen as a result of changes in information that we have not been notified of. It is to your child's benefit that you keep us up to date on all pertinent information.
